S.J.C. Sports Application Offered All New Updates Of School Sports Events Of St. Joseph's College Colombo 10. Which Provided The New Upcoming Match Scheduled And Post-Match Results. The Application Was Functional On A Wide Variety Of Handheld Devices, Such As; Android, IOS, Windows And Blackberry Devices.



As Former Students Of The College Who Actively Participated In College Societies Like The I.C.T. Society And The Radio Club, We Frequently Were Asked By Members Of The O.B.U. Whether We Were Capable Of Making A Systematic Method Of Getting Information About The Occurrences Within The School With This Initiative The Board Of The I.C.T. Society Created A Facebook Page Dedicated To Bridging The Gap As A Media Association. Although As We Grew Up, We Understood Many Downfalls Of This System And The Inception Of SJC SPORTS Occurred.

We Then Realised The School Has Also Understood The Communication Problem And Created A Similar Facebook Page As The ICT Society. Thus, The Same Difficulties And Downfalls Would Not Be Addressed; However, Professional The Team Behind Its Creation. 


Making A Long Term Sustainable Method That Renders Information Within The School To The Teachers, Pupils, Past Pupils And The Parents, Though A Flexible Singular System  Providing Information About School Sports And Promoting School Sports Events. Establish Sustainability And Inaugurate A System That Gives All Schools News Via The Same Platform In A User-Friendly Fashion.  

Alongside the mobile application, S.J.C. News website which gave a platform for various sports clubs in the school to showcase their performance to all Josephians.

·       PhoneGap’s Cordova: For building a hybrid multi-platform mobile application.

·       Laravel: For the web application to handle the API and the website.
